--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is it possible to use these techniques to choose a baby's sex when you are using clomid to ovulate? We had to use it last time we got pregnant and we had twin girls. fraternal twins run in my family and the girls were full term , my dr. thinks it’s a high possibility we would have another set of twins. How would that affect our attempt to have a boy (or boys)?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

clomid acts to initiate a series of events including the hormone surges in the female that lead to follicular ovulation--a release of the egg from the ovary. although you may not have a regular cycle, so you may not be able to predict when the ovulation date is, if you are trying for a boy you can track basal body temperatures and cervical mucus status to know when ovulation occurs, so as to be able to apply the methods to make it more likely to have a baby boy.
